If my research is correct, 6957 is still in service today, and is one of the few GP40-2s still painted in the YN2 livery. Around 2008, the engine was renumbered to CSX 6957. When CSX bought out 42% of ConRail assets in 1999, they also inherited the former CR 3369, which was initially renumbered to 4440. It wasn’t until some time in the 1990s when 6219 was repainted in YN2 colours.
